I would rather have it simple. That makes it easier for me to get it on and off. It also makes it easier to find the items I clipped on. The buckle is nice, and I will take your word for it that it is strong, but it is not necessary. As far as the crotch strap goes, maybe the scooter can't break it. But I don't want the scooter jamming it up my rear. The two inch strap will spread out the load and avoid binding. As far as the slot in the ss plate goes. It is amazing what you can accomplish with drills and files and dremels. Oms simply did not do its homework on the harness. The chest strap is in the way of the dry suit inflator. It is also not necessary. The rings that hold the unit together , one on each side are also not necessary. Then there is the matter of the two inch strap that is attached to the ring with one inch webbing.I want two inch. Their one inch crotch strap has this small plastic clip on it to make it adjustable. I would rather have it solid with a loop. It seems to make sense to Keep it simple and very functional. It's my opinion and how I intend to proceed and why. Thanks for the info, even though I did not agree with it.\ Richie --Boundary_(ID_6vFRmnvR1QXi2V+Pka3+dQ) Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.3211.1700" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV>The Harness from OMS is too cluttered.
