Okay Mr. Smith, here is why you and your opinion are discredited, by your
own standard.

This is NOT fact. A partially opened valve will cause flow restriction. A
flow restricted valve, by definition, is not acting like an open valve.

A partially open valve (even if it is restricted, which it is
not necessarily so (see my post to David Sweeten on 4/17
for the long version)) will allow flow. Only a fully shut
valve will not allow flow. So therefore, a partially open
valve is more like an open valve than a shut valve.

> A partially open valve will be more easily shut (whether
> intentionally or not).

This is NOT fact it is conjecture based on false assumption. Easily
does not offer a de facto standard or measured amount of energy required to
effect a valve closure, either by revolutions, torque, or psi.

Ok. You are correct on the part that "easily" does not
offer a standard. That does not make it conjecture or
based on false assumption, however. I will clarify.
A partially open valve can be shut more quickly.
(Fewer turns)

> I should notice an inadvertently shut isolator by monitoring my SPG.

Yes you should notice, but again, not FACT mere speculation. Dont should
on yourself.

I don't see how you can agree with the statement that you SHOULD know...
and then say it is speculation. Is it 100% foolproof that one would notice?
No...But that is what training and experience is for, right? So..is it a
FACT?
I don't know. But I think we agree you should notice.

> If I am too stupid to open my isolator before mixing/filling,
> then that is Darwin at work.

Opinion, not fact.

You may have me here. Although in the past I wrote "if...you probably
shouldn't..." This time it might not be CLEARLY indicated as opinion.
But I guess that would only be if anyone actually knew what Darwin
was up to these days.

Then, Mr. Smith, you go on to say .

> (clip) Let us not dispute fact with opinion and state it as a fact.

You did this very thing above! So what does that tell us? Darwin at
work! (So maybe your last statement was fact).

Regards,

Quinn

Quinn,
Although I don't agree or yield to all your arguments...At least you
addressed the
statements I actually made (for the most part). That is more than most have
done. Applause.
