Some truth there , Bill. Obviously a both-side-of-the-pond-problem. However, it is hard to protect the innocent from drowning, or the super-cuties from bad practice, because of their gross numbers. So what else counterstrategies left ? Look at your local newspaper. You will probably find news about the latest firesquad social event, of the achievements of the local club of pigeon raisers or kennel club, where are the divers ? What about reports on divers who trace environmental mishaps, help archeologists, protect endangered species, help the handicapped to have a scent of adventure and self-achievement, integrate other communities in social project like Sports against racism, violence, drugs. Our club did some really funny work, in swimming, hovering inflatable transparent sofas over the bay, for an art project. Got known nationwide..... Well , may be still not enough to seep in the nine o'clock news, but where to begin else.
