The zipper on my DUI pockets (as well as dry zipper outer) is fairly
"beefy"(has large teeth). It would certainly take more than a grain of sand
to jam it up. Has anyone out there had THIS type of zipper jam on them? I
know several people using them and know of no problems to date.

Bullshit. It takes a grain of sand or a piece of
shell debris to jam a zip. You can pick that up and
get a jam from it during a dive.

IF velcro deteriorates, it doesn't happen instantly.
It gets slack first. And guess what, Einstein, that's
when you replace it.

Are you saying that because you've had no problem
with your zip pocket so far, you never will and no-one
else will either?

See above.

You can add a grip tab to a velcro pocket to make it
easier to open with heavy gloves. Then you don't have to
run the risk of a zipper jamming.

What, about medium breasts?
