Subject: RE: Scooters
Hi All,

thanks to all who answered my scooter questions=2E Most of these came =20
privately and I've had a lot of requests to forward that info=2E Here is a=20=
 =20
summary, this is based on what others have told me so don't hassle me if =20
it is wrong:

Simplicity, less chance of things going wrong=2E

Put it on the lowest prop pitch so it is putting out very little thrust=2E=20=
 =20
Someone also mentioned ploughing it into something big and immoveable=2E

There is a noticeable drop-off in power output=2E Avoid deep discharge by =20=
=20
staying within the predicted burn time of the batteries=2E

Some people say they are good, most are saying stick with the originals=2E

Buy a used scooter as it avoids VAT (17=2E5%) and is just subject to 4% =20
duty=2E

Cheers,
