I have just bought a short body Gavin directly from George and can confirm
the info below. From George, you get the scooter and that's it (unless you
ask for spares). Halcyon includes all the other goodies. If it is your
first scooter definitely get it from Halcyon.

Out of interest, the Gavin is without a doubt the finest piece of dive
equipment I have ever laid my hands on. It is so much fun it should be
illegal. Once again, the DIR guys get on and deliver the goods while
everybody else is busy talking, thanks George.

Greg, the half truths are all yours.

If you want the whole truth; when you buy a Gavin from Halcyon they do make
a profit on the sale. Just like you they have to earn a living and pay the
rent every month. Also, they do add extras: charger, manual,
shipping/storage case, spare prop blades, etc. and you get support from the
dealer.

From George you get a scooter, period. You have to supply your own charger,
rack, etc. since George assumes (and rightly so) that if you are buying a
scooter directly from him you know what you are doing and can do the
details on your own.

Get your facts straight before you post.

HALF TRUTHS - George
Why does is cost 4800.00 for a Gavin Scooter from Halycon, And George
charges 3500.00.
Just like you said george, because they sell extras.
The extra phone call to you and the extra shipping label to send it from
them to the customer.

That's effective marketing JJ.
