I was wondering why they were doing that as well. I thought they just
eliminated the easy benders. I guess getting out the nitrogen would work,
too.

I think Trey calls these things "Brain Farts".
Somehow, I once again missed the obvious.
The practical application for this work is not for
off-gassing divers, but prepping astronauts for EVA's.
