I've help teach god knows how many rec divers to dive at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. The truth is that most of them do not want to deco. They either don't see the need to or don't like the concept. My point is this, all this talk about getting other agencies to teach rec trimix just doesn't pan out. Financially speaking the agencies will never go for it. They would have to charge an enormous amount to the student, and for that price you might as well go to gue. The only people the agencies are going to get are strokes that gue wouldn't take. Second, like I started to say earlier, how many people really want to do mix? I just don't see the masses flocking to trimix, with its increased complexity, investment, and planning (even though it would be a better gas). Wouldn't a better solution be what already exists. Have PADI teach you your 'Cozumel Diving', and have gue teach you 'DIR'. Afterall you don't learn formula one driving in drivers ed, you go to a different class.
