so lets do some math. seven days, two dives a day. lets say. ten divers. lets $500 us per k of he. thats all you need if they can make ean with a membrane. so lets say we are going to make these dives on 19/35. lets say non penetration dives because of no manifolds, so single 80's for every one. how many k's of he will we need. im thinking 35% of 80 cuft is what 26 cuft so thts 52 cuft per diver per day so roughly 520 cuft per day so you need roughly 3640 cuft of gas. so you need 14 k's of he. 500x14= 7000 divide by ten divers cost = 700 per diver, but over 14 dives thats only 50 dollars per dive. do you really expect anybody to believe you pay what four grand for the boat, another grand to fly, endure 17 hours in a plane then who knows how long on the boat, and then the educated techdiver <who probably pays twenty grand to get to that point> says i cant afford to pay $50 to dive gas, so im going to dive air?. now thats bullshit Scott Al Marvelli scott sitt wrote > > > of > > > > shipping one K-cylinder of 02 or helium to Chuuk is over $500 U.S. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
