Andrew, these guys are Strokes with a capital S and they don't get it. It is no accident that this is the lair of that fat slob Gilliam, and it is no surprise to me that these morons continue to do the same thing over and over expecting different results. These assholes FIRMLY believe that there is some "ability" to dive on air. The fact is that 99% of these guys do not possess 10% of my ability, and I can't dive 100 feet on air and expect to be anything but 4 atmospheres deep in impairment. To think otherwise is the deluded realm of those who can't do jack shit and have not done jack shit like that ridiculous "living parody of Sir John Falstaff", Gilliam himself. Funny that JJ and I like to dive an 80 foot end or less, funny that we hold all the records, and funny that we get to do all the best caves and wrecks because the best thinking of shit like Gilliam and his "peers" has left so much unexplored, and certainly unremembered, and their track records have locked them out. You just can not fix stupidity and the attitudes that deep air foster - it is called addiction and drug abuse at it worst - a cheap buzz for pussies, an "accomplishment" for fat slobs an strokes who can do nothing else other than fall off a boat and drop deep . Diving on helium is like watching color TV relative to black and white. Only the worst DUMB FUCK would travel half way around the world to a place like Truk and watch black and white. sage ----- From: Andrew Cronan <acronan@ns*.bi*.ne*.au*> To: <haglandg@to*.co*>; Trey <trey@ne*.co*>; <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2000 6:05 AM Subject: Re: And the beat goes on, and on, and on... > on 26/9/00 12:55 PM, Gary Hagland at haglandg@to*.co* wrote: > The water is > > warm and clear, there are no currents, and most wrecks are at moderate > > depths with few below 130 - 140 FSW.
