Kent, what you saw is the USGC's preferred small boat of choice, its a cross between a RIB and an aluminum workskiff. They really love these things and man do they handle a lot of weight. They're made here in Washington at Port Orchard. You really have to go for a ride in rough seas in one of these to appreciate it. Its called the "Safeboat" and you better have unlimited resources if you want one. If memory serves me right the 21 footer goes for about $45,000.
