I thought about re-titling this "I'm an idiot (was Re: DIR harness buckles)" :-) It just occured to me whenever I adjust MY harness during a dive one hand is holding the loose end of webbing. Obviously the harness or the weight belt is going no-where if you've got one hand holding the loose end of webbing and the other on the buckle (wouldn't matter if you did accidently undo the wrong one).
