Izzy, thanks for this. However, one has a lot better chance starting out DIR than otherwise, but as you suggest, they then need to shut up and get some experience. I agree with you that a lot of the really stupid shit comes right from my own guys at WKPP and others on the fringe who can't get anything right and have big mouths. Jarrod and I commiserate about this all of the time. DIR does not fix stupid. We're still working on that one. -----Original Message----- From: Izzy <izzy@im*.fr*.co*.uk*> To: Trey <trey@ne*.co*>; ajmarve@ba*.ne* <ajmarve@ba*.ne*> Cc: Tech Diver <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Date: Monday, September 11, 2000 5:29 AM Subject: Re: WKPP + DECO >From: Trey <trey@ne*.co*> > >> I am starting to think that these classes devote a >> disproportionate amount of time to teaching about >> how I am an evil person, the WKPP is bad and wrong , >> JJ is a no no, and that anything which makes sense >> is bs. > >No George, we only tell them to stay out of your way when they have dumb >questions or you're not in a debate mood ;-) > >On a more serious note pal, you can't be more right.
