Hi all,

Jouni Polkko wrote on 23. Feb. and asked about experiences with
flooded UWK lights. Sorry for being a bit late here, but I just got
back from a diving trip to Swedish west coast. Great dives, only
shadowed to some extent with my brand-new UWK 4 C-cell light flooding
at 28 metres. I bought the light at a boat and dive fair the previous
week, and while considering the deal (a good one!), was shown the
manufacturers warranty label stating the test depth as 500 ft! Now,
after reading Jouni's message (we're at the same club), I came to
think that possibly the cold water (+3 centigrade) had something to
do with the problem. I also read that a lot of people on techdiver have
used UKW lights without any problems. Does anyone have an opinion
on possible effects of cold environment to UKW lights flooding?
