With all due respect, this is bullshit.

EVERY single bottle has the bottle contents, analysis results, date of
analysis, and diver's initials marked on tape on the neck of the bottle.
The 3 inch numbers on the side are for underwater identification, not for
telling different diver's bottles apart on the boat.  At least that's how we
do it up here and I assume that's how the WKPP guys do it too since that's
who we learned from.
