Robert: You need the silver-colored nickel grommets not the brass colored ones. The brass colored ones that come with most grommet kits will rust out immediately. You can get a grommet kit at pretty much any hardware store that has the correct punch. They only cost a few bucks. But the correct nickel grommets can be harder to find. I know you can get them at Seattle Fabrics. See: http://www.seattlefabrics.com/ This is a store that sells raw materials for backpacks etc. They also have every kind of webbing you can imagine in any length and a good selection of d-rings. Worth dropping visiting if you're a diver in the Seattle area.
