I was thinking of christolube, could not recall the name at the time. My point was that the standard orings, seats, etc. work fine with 02 and you don't need a kit or a green color for your reg to work. 02 may accelerate decomposition of standard orings but what the hell you replace them annually anyway, you don't give them enough time to degrade. There is so much BS out there about 02 and it really irks me that the marketers have taken advantage of the situation to sell bogus "02 kits" and green "nitrox" regulators. You need to clean your tanks, manifolds and regs to give you a clean air supply, never mind the 02. Any properly cleaned rig will be clean enough for 02.
