Mike,

        Since you addressed this to me I will respond.  First, I have no 
problems with DIR being discussed in any forum at any frequency rate.  It is 
a valid topic worthy of discussion.  My comments were directed at someone 
that questioned why you were appearing as a special guest.  I'm not sure 
where you got the idea I was objecting to your appearence. If I had any 
objections, as the Thrusday night session host and Forum Leader/SysOp for 
AOL's Scuba Forum, you'd obviously would not have been invited in the first 
place.

    The work you have been doing with respect to the DIR demos is to be 
commended.  I have no qualms or quarrels with the DIR system or any of its 
proponents.  I simply provided a brief explaination to how you came to be a 
guest, what was involved and how others could access the area if interested 
in attending.  Sorry if you took that as some form of anti-DIR rhetoric.
