Kevin, I am glad to see that you will follow Janet and Wahoo to hell and
back, if only all dive boats had customers this loyal.

I did not say anything to cut Janet down as a person, I'm sure she's a great
gal, certainly evidenced by the overwhelming support the Wahoo gets whenever
anything that can be faintly perceived as negative appears on this list.

But I am a bit worried that you feel that the fact a person can lift a diver
kitted out in doubles clear of the water with one hand means that he or she
will live forever. I am simply stating the facts that when you have
excessive weight the body distributes it not just around the waist but also
all over the internal organs. And when the heart is shrouded in fat it
causes it to work harder. And fat must be vascularized which means that the
heart has to pump blood through it, so when there is more fat the heart
works harder at rest never mind while under stress. This can damage the
heart no matter how great the owner of the heart is. You don't have to be a
genius to figure this out.

Take sumo wrestlers as an example. They are incredibly powerful people but
most of them die of heart attacks or diabetes in their late 40's or early
50's. They don't care as they take it as a trade-off for early riches and
fame. But by your reasoning they should live forever. Why don't they?

   Jim
