Thanks for all the answers I have recieved!

Just to clarify: I don't mind anyone diving on the Estonia! I have no
personal involvment in the catastrophy, I just find it as fascinating as it
was tragic. I hate when the coverment forbid things for no good reason. I'd
love to see the wreck myself, but I don't have that kind of diving skill or
experience at all yet.

I just want to know what kind of guy he is, and if he does have any
commersial intrest or not. Which one might suspect since he won't actually
dive himself. There was a lot of finger pointing when she sank and I assume
that some insurance company or the builders of the ship took the blow. They
might sponsor anyone who might be able to prove that she sank because of a
fault from the crew for instance.

No matter if he is a scumbag or not, I hope he does do the dives, so that
hopfully mayby the prohibition to dive there is lifted. (Why forbid swedes
and fins to dive there if there are shiploads of americans diving there)

regards
/Olle

Ok one question, if the family wants him to dive it, why would you
want
him not to? Trust me people down there are dead, they are not going to
mind
him diving it. If it helps the families understand what happened, and
make
piece with it then this diver is doing a good thing. Graves are ment to
be
viewed and mourned. Just go to Pearl Harbor and look at the Arizona, no
one
dives it but its viewed daily. They are dead, and if the rest of us can
learn
from their deaths then doesn't that give their deaths a little more
meaning?

Thank You
