David, I am sure you will get a call from Gilliam threatening you about =
this, but I would love to come up there and run a proper workshop .

Keep in mind that I have nothing to do with GUE or EE, but the DIR =
workshop is fine.

It is nice to see a show that is not a dive industry bullshit =
session. This is the kind of thing I will always participate in.

Thanks for the invite. Now tell me how many weenies complain to you and =
say they will not come there - I am looking for a new personal record in =
that category .

    Jarrod and George;
   =20
I'd like to take this opportunity to invite you and your =
organization to join us once again in Boston for our 47th Annual =
International Underwater Clinic, on March 3-4, 2001. We were glad to =
welcome GUE/EE as an exhibitor last year, and hope to see you again in =
that capacity, but I want to extend an invitation for you to join us as =
a daytime presenter, and also offer you a chance to run a half-day or =
full day workshop/seminar on "Doing it Right". This would give you and =
your team an opportunity to present your message in the Northeast, while =
also helping to offset your expenses associated with travelling to =
Boston. As the president of the oldest and most respected dive show in =
the country, and the last to be truly run by volunteers not associated =
with the dive industry, I can assure you this invitation is genuine, and =
will not be affected by any dive industry politics. =20
    =20
The main goal of the Boston Sea Rovers has always been, first and =
foremost, to raise the level of knowledge of the underwater world. We =
primarily meet this lofty goal through our annual Underwater Clinic. We =
are not the biggest show in the country, nor do we ever want to be. We =
are, however, the best. We offer two full days of seminars that cover =
the entire spectrum of the underwater world, from the latest in =
technical explorations, to the newest reef discoveries. We have =
premiered more speakers and topics over the past 46 years than any other =
show in the nation, if not the world, a record that we proudly continue. =
If you agree to present a workshop, it would be advertised in our =
mailings starting in October, giving you an opportunity to reach over =
8,000 divers. I will be mailing Jarrod a more detailed package of =
information to the dive shop this week, which will include copies of our =
program guides, and of past flyers to give you an idea of how we =
advertise the workshops. =20
    =20
We also host an active website at www.searovers.org which you may =
find of interest. It has not yet been updated for the upcoming show, but =
it presents an overview of who we are, and what our Clinics are all =
about.
   =20
I look forward to establishing a dialog with you, and will be =
available to send any other information and to answer any questions that =
you may have. Safe Diving,=20
