Well MJB if you ever moved several "K" bottles during a group mixing party.
Then moved several more "K" bottles into his truck. Finally more "K" bottles
on to the boat along with all the other minor gear such as doubles and stage
tanks, maybe just maybe a couple of muscle could show some stress.

I know JT is in my age group. I know what my shoulders and body felt like in
the prep for the BMF dives. So I do not find it hard to understand JT's
statement.

There is not always a rotten apple under the rock. So maybe time to stop
looking for one or making and issue when there is not one.

David

Are you sure that wasn't a 1300' gauze bandage, Scott? It would
take about that much to stop your bleeding, since you guys eat
ibuprofen like candy.

And JT, in lay-man's terms (your terms), the shoulder IS a joint.
The shoulder and leg pains you experienced in conjunction with
"skin bends" were very likely all manifestations of Type 1 DCS,
not from lifting your gear.
