One of the other sterilises mentioned frequently in the UK is Milton's
Solution, which is a weak bleaching agent used for cleaning babies bottles
etc. It is okay in dilute form but is an aggressive little bastard if you
use it neat, beware getting it on coloured items unless you want to look
like a combat jacket.
