A good, inexpensive sterilising solution for things like pee valves, wing
bladders and reducing the stink in wet suits etc is sodium metabisulphate
solution. It sounds technical to the uninitiated but it is the sterilising
crystals that you buy in home brew shops for cleaning barrels and siphons.
It costs next to nothing, has no shelf life, little in the line of
contra-indications, can be legally transported as it is not a serious
reducing agent or contaminant etc.......a cheap and near perfect product,
now, when will someone package it for divers and quadruple the price?
