I am interested in this as well.  I dive in Monterey, where 
conditions are often quite rough.  I haven't progressed to the point 
of using O2 yet, but before I do, I'd like to get a few things 
clear...such as what to do when it's turned ugly and maintaining a 
certain depth is tricky.  It seems that the risk of O2 toxicity is 
quite high when breathing 100%.
