That's the conclusion I've reached as well, after looking into the volume in the canister and what I would have to fill it with. > >And BTW Paul, the reason the light is 8lbs on the surface is so you can have >a nice bright light which burns for a long time underwater. That wasn't the issue. I don't mind the 8 pounds if there is a good reason. I have simply learned not to trust manufacturers to "do what's right" and to figure out for myself if a modification is in order or not. In this case, I'll leave it be. Now before anyone starts defending the EE lights, I think they are great, I'm certainly enjoying mine. I'll enjoy it even more once I get the manual and the charger, which were missing ;-) >You did buy >it with the light head, didn't you? Yup, HID. > >And why do you have a belt, are you using AL80's and a wetsuit? Are you baiting me? ;-) Steel and Drysuit, FYI. BTW, could someone post the reasons DIR has for not mounting the light canister to the backplate? -- Paul Braunbehrens mailto:Bakalite@ba*.co* http://www.daw-mac.com Mailing list for digital audio on the mac -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
