I used to use an unbalanced but can not get decent ones or the parts anymore
( like the M50 or G200 ) so I use the nonadjustable Apeks and eihter block
it or do not, but it has no problem not freeflowing. Tightening it does keep
it from doing so, despite what you say,and as I have repeatedly said , they
crack much harder than the G250 and have other features that prevent
freeflow, like the shield over the diaphram.

I really get sick of beating dead horses with you guys. You do the dives I
do and then tell me I am full of shit.

The adustment merely beats the seat up, although a lot less on the Apeks
than the G250, and so we do not give it that chance in a BACKUP reg, nor is
there any situation where it is even remotely necesary. Jacking down the
srcew kills it and the spring. Look, I am realy tired otf wasting my time
with this shit - the fucking reason the reg needs to be less sensitive is
that is sits mouthpiece up - which it needs to for other reasons so do not
bother jerking me off about that - and the prirmary sits facedown - so there
is no need to adjust it too much.

The bottomline is that a non air balanced would be better, if it met al lthe
other cirteria. I now use the Apeks, take it or leave it, and with Seaquest
in the mix now, you may end up wanting to find somdetign else. Leave me off
of this an other tedious threads - I jsut do not have the time and really do
not give a flying fuck what any of you do, I just am so sick of having to
straighten out misconception after misconception after misconception .
