All Beuchat regulators are now made in house by Beuchat in there own
factories and have been for the last 3 or 4 years.

They used to private label an Apeks second stage and octo/inflator, any
inventories of Beuchat labeled "Apeks" are actually old equipment. It took
awhile for them to unload the old stuff, so you may still see this stuff in
some dive shops.

The new "Evolution" second stage internally has some similarity's to the
Apeks, but IMHO the Beuchat Evolution is a better unit.

The VX-10 first stage externally looks very similar to the apeks version but
they are different units made in different countries.
