Of course I was baiting you, you were starting to whine. You put the light on your belt because (HID, huh? I can tell you're gonna love this one) your light is considered a droppable weight should you need some emergency buoyancy. (hmmm, think I'll keep my good old halogen head) Plus you need to easily doff/don the unit should you get keyholed in a cave or a wreck. Plus you need to be able to access the switch and no you don't mound your light upside down. Plus it's more streamlined down there. I will probably think of more reasons.
