Jim, I think I know which one you are talking about. I think in one of their adds or on their web site they have you filling your pony bottle from your main via a HP hose connecting the 2 throughout the dive. Something about never not having air available in your pony when you need it. What a hoot! Actually there is a company out there which makes a "universal manifold" which allows you to make doubles out of any conceivable combination of tanks, a strokes dream come true. You can see it advertised in tech magazines. It use HP hoses and other ridiculous parts and adapters to accomplish this. I agree that the routing options is the engineers original intention.
