Sounds like as good an explanation as any.  Didn't think about house routing
but makes sense to me.  Never thought about it because when diving singles
or doubles the house routing never seemed to be a problem so I didn't think
about it.

	My guess is that most manufacturers provide two ports to provide
more hose
	routing options.  I doubt they are really expecting people to use 2
SPGs or a
	backup SPG to an air integrated computer.  Besides, the 2 port
regulators have
	been around longer than air integrated computers.

	Remember that the vast majority of these regs only get used for
single tank
	recreational diving where "personal preference" is the order of the
day.  If
	you have only 1 LP port then you only have one hose routing option
for the SPG
	unless you flip the regulator upside down.

	With two ports you now have twice as many convoluted ways to route
your SPG or
	console.
