Thanks to the many people who have provided information in response to the 
Apeks regulator questions I posed. It looks like recommendations point to 
the the US4/TX40 combo. This will be for my first doubles rig that I am 
doing some advanced planning for. At present I am planning on a Scuba Pro 
R380 for a backup. My main diving interest is ocean/wreck diving.

Can someone please comment on the advantages/disadvantages of sealed vs. 
non-sealed first stages (as in the Apeks models)? I'm not sure I understand 
the difference or if one has a higher potential for failure in certain 
conditions. I don't plan on cold water diving at this point.

If anyone can provide any US dealer info with regards to a US4 DIN/TX40 
combo I would appreciate it.
