Sorry Paul, but DIR is a *system*. It is the sum of it's parts, you are either diving DIR or you are not. Why do you think that Hamilton promotes it? I suspect it's due to the high survival rates of divers who "do it right!" vs. those who "sort of do it right" or "do it right my way". This is one thing you boneheads out there keep missing. If you are not using the system en-toto, the it's not the system. Why do you people have such a problem with that? If you take a airplane and remove the wings, it's not an airplane anymore, is it? Call it whatever the hell you want but its not a fucking airplane. You dopes are arguing "you people who insist on wings being on an airplane are a bunch of lock-stepping zealots." Do you all understand how stupid you sound? Paul, you takes bits and pieces and create your own bastardized version of DIR but don't go calling it DIR. Call "Pauls personal rig" or "Pauls way to fuck up a good thing". In truth, I don't give a crap how you rig your gear or how anybody else rig's their gear. It makes no difference to me or anybody else who strives for DIR. Sabe? Capish? Anybody home?
