Stan What you would have seen was probably an Apeks TX50 second stage. Zeagle "badge" these and sell them under their own name. As Simon mentions these regulators breath well but so do most these days. What is important and differentiates regulators is that they are reliable and require minimal or no service. The second stage needs to be able to be dismantled underwater to clear any obstructions, etc. All ports should be of standard size (no over bore LP port crap). The US4 has 4 standard LP ports and one HP port, no swivels or turrets. I now have seven and have used them for 3-4 years and am very pleased with equipment. The TX40 is similar to the TX50 second stage but lacks the breathing resistance adjuster. I use TX40s for this reason. I understand for earlier emails the George uses the Apeks US4 first stages. In the UK, these are rarely stocked by dive shops but available to order as they are a standard product from Apeks. Delivery in the UK normally takes a week. They are as follows: US4/TX40 for the primary US4/Scubapro R380 for the secondary I have only done 1 dive on them (last weekend), but I am very pleased so far. The hose routings are very clean and they breathe great. But then on trimix, every reg breathes like a dream.
