Apparently the diver signaled his 2 buddies that he wasn't = feeling well and he surfaced. His buddies watched him surface and then = they headed back down to continue their dive. The diver reportedly spit = out his regulator, waved his arms over his head in the "need help" = signal, and then just rolled his head backwards and dropped below the = surface. The dive boat had 2 divers on top of him fairly quickly but = they couldn't find him. Workers on the oil rig who were watching the = divers confirmed the story including that the DM's were on top of the = area almost immediately. Reportedly he had over 100 dives with one of = his 2 buddies.
