All An underwater search this morning failed to locate John Hammond. Here is the update. John was a competent, well dived-in and safe recreational diver. Here is the BBC news update on the two lost divers from, "http://www.excite.co.uk/news/news_story/news/news7.txt <http://www.excite.co.uk/news/news_story/news/news7.txt> " A search for experienced frogman Stephen Norris, 41, from Bournemouth, who failed to surface after exploring the World War Two wreck of the Kyarra, off Durlston Head, Dorset, has been abandoned. And the second diver, named only as 53-year-old Mr Hammond, from Gosport, Hants, is thought to have drowned after going down 31 metres to try to free an anchor. Darkness brought an end to the air-sea search for Mr Hammond, who was thought to only have been carrying a limited oxygen [sic] supply.
