Many fire stations, although only required to test grade D use grade E air, 
and test for it. As a lot of stations have a dive team. Grade E air is just 
fine for most fun divers, as well for the type of diving I do. The way the 
post sounded to me, was that ex seals were out for some fun dives but could 
not get air. Not hiliox or tri mix, or any of the other gas mixes I know very 
little to nothing about.
