Your the first person to post any such situation.

I guess it just goes to show you that ignorance knows no bounds.

Coming from the buddy of an abandoned/dead diver, I guess we would just have
to consider the source.

I have dove from St Thomas to Agamemnon, and never once run into any
operation that would refuse DIR. My experience has been that they ask
questions about the gear configuration, if they have never seen it before,
and think it's pretty cool. They always ask "Where did you learn that?"

My answer is always "Its from those crazy fuckers in Florida that go 300
feet deep, 3 miles back into those caves."
