Along similar lines I read an article in (UK based) Diver this month that IANTD
is coming out with a new Open Water certification that along with other
breakthroughs, de-emphasizes the need for a buddy.  Please tell all of us here
that this was either editorial error, or that IANTD is not just as laughable.
