To my knowledge there are four diffrent variations on the Jetstream first
stage (not counting the direct yoke types).
1. The round with one spring. (My model, ca 6 years old)
This one can be recognized by the flat top.
2. The round with two springs.
This one has a bulb on the pressure adustement nut.
This one was introduced to be easyer to adjust to 12.5 bars, less
strain on the springs.
3. The flat sided one.
This one has difficult to reach outlet ports. Comes with a swivel for
the HP-pressure port, and has a "S" restricted flow extra LP port.
4. The short "Triton" first stage. Ca 1994 and on. This one has the
new balanced mechanism, comes with an internal pressure relife
valve (neccesary for the triton)
The last one is suposed to be the only first stage produced right now.
In sweden the Cyklon, Jetstream and Triton are sold at the same price
and with the same type of first stage.
There is one point to note. The "R" outlets on the first stages for the
jetstream is connected to the membrane chamber via a hole. This gives
some venturi effect that is good for the jetstream. The cyklon may
disslike this output.
