OK, so we know that OMS tanks are made by Faber and we know that Scubapro tanks are made by Faber Which begs the question. Is there any difference at all between the OMS 98 which is rated at 2640 psi and the Scubapro 95 which is rated at 2400 psi? For all intents and purposes they appear identical other than the price and color of the paint. The dimensions and weight of these two tanks appears identical. If they are indeed identical, and someone wants a lighter tank than the pressed steel 95 for ocean diving, what reason would there be to buy the more expensive OMS 98 over the Scubapro 95?
