List, I am evaluating drysuits and, never having owned one, am seeking info from those with more experience on the subject. Thus far the field has been narrowed to the Gates Pro-Am 1050 and the DUI TLS350 or CLX 450. In the cave/wreck environment how does the durability of a vulcanized rubber suit (ie. Viking or Gates Pro Am) compare to that of a trilaminate with the nylon outer layer (ie. DUI TLS350)? Would the easier patching of the rubber suit be an advantage? Anyone have experience with the new CLX 450? What about the insulation value and durability of DUI rockboot system on the 350 & 450? Any good advice or sharing of experiences good, bad, or otherwise on these models is welcome. Thanks, Mike -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
