I was talking worst case scenario calculation based on air. I do not know how much the 104s contain but the twin 15L will hold 6000 free litres of gas. The 'being barely positive in real life' was with a 27/35 tx in Danish salt water. >I have to ADD weight to even get down in salt water >with my 104's, TLS 350 with C_4, my light, and my ALUMINUM stage bottles >and ALUMINUM backplate. What the hell ar you talking about. Of course I add weight too (the light, steel BP, V-weight, 3 kgs on a weight belt). I also dive 2 alu deco bottles (7L). My point was that you (detached from the rig) is positive and the rig is negative. Therefore I find I interesting that you should aim for the rig being able to float ITSELF at the beginning of the dive and not YOU (who are stand-alone positive in your suit) COMBINED with the rig. Am I correct in understanding it thus? This would mean a larger wing compared to if you should be able to float the rig AND you - or am I completely off? >And I have about zero body fat. Neither have I - but I am more skinny than you (hell, who isn't :). >BTW, the wing lifts quoted by Halcyon are not even close. Subtract about >15 pounds from each. This makes perfect sense. Why do they quote them wrong? -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
