Oren,

I have two Mark20/G500 sets and they do breathe very well.  
They also free-flow at the drop of a hat!  They do have an
adjustment which will help reduce this, but even with the
regs set to minimum sensitivity, they will start a violent
free flow if you take them out of your mouth and turn
them "mouthpiece up".

If you are going to use this reg, you probably need to 
have it detuned by your local shop, or use the little
keeper clips that come with it which plug the mouthpiece
when not in use.

This is not a reg that you can just clip off and let
it float around with the mouthpiece open.

I would suspect that my reg was out of tune, but
thats the way they both worked straight from the
factory.
