Hi All in the USA who got to DEMA or Tek'95,
Did anyone who saw the Oceanic rebreather in the USA take a photo of
it ? If so, can you scan it in (somehow) and send a jpeg image...or any
other picture format to me (ec96@li*.ac*.uk*)
or to Eric Lundquist <ericl@oc*.wa*.ed*>.
Does anyone want to do a short write-up of it's functionality ? Only 5
to 10 lines are needed.
Eric has setup a nice databate of info on rebreathers now on
http://diver.ocean.washington.edu/rebreather.html
The Oceanic rebreather is conspicuously absent. Can anyone correct
this ? (nb..the latest UK "Diver" magazine carried a full page advert for the
Oceanic "Phibian" this month. No details. No picture...but it looks like it
should hopefully be available soon if they are already spending cash on adverts
like this)
Does anyone working for Oceanic wish to say a few words ? Although we
don't want a lot of blatant advertising on this listserver, any info at all on
rebreathers is pretty 'hot' right now & generates a lot of interest.
If Peter Readey (the "Prism" developer) wants to update the info on
Eric's world wide web database detailed above, then I'm sure we would be glad
of
any info newer than the stuff on Erics database that I & others wrote nearly 1
year ago. I know Peter subscribes to techdiver, but don't have his email
address.
If the Biomarine/Rexnord/US Navy Mk 12 (or 11 ?) is still commercially
available to civilians, then some words & a photo from anyone on this would be
nice too.
Any update info from anyone on the Cis-Lunar Mk 5 yet...??
If anyone has any rebreather photos, but doesn't have access to a
scanner or 24 bit 'true-colour' graphics then if you "snail-mail" them to me, I
will get them up on the system as soon as I can.
