When I tried out the "Prism" rebreather on a 1-day "tryout" course last year, I recall being told that it was going to be available with an optional diffuser to prevent all noisy bubbles venting and instead give off a stream of fine 'mist' bubbles. I've not had an update on this since. Did Peter Readey mention this at "Tek'95" ?? I've scanned in a series of photos of the Prism unit we used (but it may have changed or been updated since last year) and sent them with extracts from the various emails to techdiver about the Prism from last year to Mike Salmon. Once he has returned from diving in the Red Sea (don't you just *hate* him ?? ...:-) next week, then I think he will be willing to mount these on World Wide Web under UK Diving, accessed using http://www.cru.uea.ac.uk:80/ukdiving/equip/index.htm Have a look here if you are interested in a week or so. > Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@opal.com'. > Send subscription/archive requests to `techdiver-request@opal.com'.
