Jeremy,

First, you shold know that anyone who uses a hotmail address is viewed with
suspicion, b/c the list has had problems with fake messages in the past, its
the reason we have the authentication system. This alone is enuff to get you
the brush off from some people.

Second, there is a large amount of important information out there, but its
hidden. I think its even more important that the information requires some
effort to find it. One of the problems with scuba in general is that people
want it like they get at burger king, hot fast and their way. This is bad.
people need to learn everything about the system slowly and assimilate it
into their diving over time. You can buy a plate and wings. long hose etc,
but thats only the first step. You certainly wouldnt want to take G's deco
info and start right away with 7 hours decos if your just a reef diver. THus
these things are revelaed slowly and to people who prove themselves worthy of
the info over time.

Another thing to remember is that no one is ever happy. at one time there was
no gue, no wkpp web site, no books no videos, nothing except email. They have
come a long way and they are still committed to making it better.

The two videos are very informative. BUy them, watch them and re watch them.
Ts just like w/ the emails. I save the good ones and reread over time, its
amazing how much is in some of these things, when you stop and think about
it.

regards,

Al Marvelli

ps, also check out wkpp.org,gue.com, and the links off those pages, todd
leonards site,the trimix page,etc.
