A slightly different version:

quick-

Galileo: "Hey, this telescope thingy I just invented is pretty damn
cool. I think the Earth may actually rotate around the Sun."

dirty -

the Vatican: "Y'know, Mr. G., unless you recant this whole
Earth-around-the-Sun bit, you're going to be the Guest of Honor at the next
BBQ".

safe-

Galileo: "Well, Mr. Pope-Guy, you've got a fine point there. I could be
wrong..."

 Mr. Black,

So, is what you're saying is that since the WKPP have figured out that
the info from various individuals & agencies is either A:) outdated, or B:)
wrong, we should continue to pay attention to these agencies, etc. because
we don't want to make any progress. Status Quo is easy, but perhaps not the
best way to learn things.

I, for one, will be quite happy to discard the old, outdated stuff from
NOAA, etc. and partake of the free info disseminated by the WKPP. Hmmm.

    Perry
