Hey Alton, how does it stand in the US when MDs give out false
or misleading medical advice and opinion in a forum like this
& rec.scuba? 

Or when they pretend specialist knowledge and expertise that 
they do not have?

Or when they run interference on real information from real
experts?

Does bad advice constitute malpractice? Do they risk getting 
their asses sued?
