Joel-

I think that the cursing, mud-slinging and character debasement is a good
thing. I enjoy it. Notice that whenever a thread like this fires up, a bunch
of the hard-core morons come out of the woodwork to stand up and be counted.

This thread is particularly interesting as it seems that the UK is a
stronghold for strokedom, (with a few notable exceptions) and it seems that
"Dr. Black" can only find limey strokes to support his bullshit and to
whine, piss and moan for him. "Dr. Black" must be a pseudonym as I can't
imagine anybody who actually achieved a degree in medicine could possibly be
this stupid.

You have to understand that the strokes and their agencies are against the
ropes. They are getting students who are refusing to do, or pay for, the
deep air crap and they are having to modify their curriculums to accommodate
this trend. The students are also refusing to purchase expensive stroke gear
and those who did are going back pissed off that they have to dump this gear
ten cents on the dollar.

This is the only reason I can come up with as to the vehemence against
George, or anyone else who makes the logical arguments for DIR equipment and
techniques. George is a huge pain in their collective asses, and his enemies
are showing their collective stupidity by fighting logic with whiney,
prissy, emotional arguments which hold no water. If these guys had any
brains they would be falling all over themselves to capitalize the huge
interest in DIR which is obvious to me.
